Understanding Storenvy Fees: A Complete Guide for Sellers

Storenvy offers a straightforward fee structure designed to align with your success as a seller. Unlike traditional e-commerce platforms with monthly subscriptions or listing fees, Storenvy operates on a revenue-share model that only charges when you make sales. Below we break down all the costs associated with selling on Storenvy.

Storenvy Marketplace Commission Fees

The platform uses a simple commission-based model for marketplace sales:

Sale TypeCommission RateDetails
Marketplace Sale15%Applied to total sale price, including shipping
Marketplace Sale with Managed Marketing25%Replaces the standard 15% fee; optional feature

These fees are deducted automatically, and the rest of the payment is deposited directly into your connected account via PayPal or Stripe. Learn more about Storenvy’s marketplace fees.

What Is Managed Marketing?

Managed Marketing is an optional service offered by Storenvy to help drive more visibility and sales to your products. When enabled, Storenvy actively promotes your items across digital ad networks, email campaigns, and other marketing channels. If a sale results from this service, a 25% commission replaces the standard 15% fee. You can opt in or out of Managed Marketing at any time in your store settings.

Payment Processing Fees (PayPal & Stripe)

In addition to commission fees, Storenvy sellers are responsible for standard payment processing fees charged by PayPal or Stripe. These fees are not controlled by Storenvy and are typical across all eCommerce platforms. Rates may vary slightly by region, but the typical U.S. rate is:

  • PayPal: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
  • Stripe: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

These fees are deducted by the payment processor at the time of sale. Always account for them in your pricing strategy to maintain profitability.
