eBay UK Selling Fees for Private Sellers
Selling on eBay UK is free for UK-based private sellers. You receive 300 free listings each month and do not pay final value fees or regulatory operating fees when your item sells. Fees only apply if you exceed your free listing allowance, use optional listing upgrades, or ship items to buyers outside the United Kingdom.
Listing Fees
Private sellers receive an allocation of 300 free listings each month (or 400 listings if you have an eBay Shop subscription). Once this limit is exceeded, eBay charges £0.35 for each additional listing created during the same month.
Final Value Fees (Non-UK Private Sellers)
Private sellers whose registered address is outside the UK are charged a final value fee of 12.8% of the total sale amount plus a fixed fee of £0.30 per order. If the total sale amount exceeds £5,000, a reduced rate of 3% applies to the portion above this threshold. The total sale amount includes the item price, postage, handling charges, and any applicable taxes.
For the Men's and Women's Trainers categories, items sold for £100 or more are charged a reduced final value fee of 8% plus £0.30 per order.
