eBay Spain Selling Fees for Private Sellers

Selling on eBay.es is straightforward and cost-effective for private sellers. You receive a monthly allowance of free listings and only pay fees when your item sells. These typically include a final value fee, a regulatory operating fee, and international selling fees where applicable.

Final Value Fees

When your item sells, eBay charges a final value fee based on the total sale amount (item price, shipping, handling, VAT, and any applicable taxes), plus a fixed per-order fee.

• 11.5% on the portion up to €2,000
• 2% on the portion above €2,000

The fixed per-order fee is €0.05 for orders of €10 or less, and €0.35 for orders over €10.

An order includes one or more items purchased by the same buyer with the same shipping method. No fee is usually charged if the item doesn't sell. However, if you share contact information to complete the sale outside eBay, the fee may apply based on the highest listed or agreed price.

Regulatory Operating Fee

A regulatory operating fee of 0.42% is applied to the total sale amount for private sellers.

International & Currency Conversion Fees

If your registered address is in Spain and the buyer’s delivery address is outside the Eurozone or Sweden, the following international fees apply to the total sale amount:

If eBay converts your funds (for example, during international transactions), a 3% currency conversion fee is applied on top of the base exchange rate.

eBay Spain Selling Fees for Professional Sellers

Professional (business) sellers on eBay Spain benefit from advanced selling tools and optional eBay Store subscriptions, which offer discounts and additional features. Fees typically include final value fees, a regulatory operating fee, and international selling fees where applicable.

Final Value Fees

For most categories, the final value fee is calculated as:

• 9% on the portion up to €990
• 2% on the portion above €990

The fixed per-order fee is €0.35 for orders of €10 or less, and €0.45 for orders over €10.

Seller Performance Adjustments

• Below Standard sellers – An additional +6% is applied to final value fees for the following month.
• Very High “Item Not as Described” requests – May incur an additional +4% fee in affected categories.
• Sellers rated Above Standard or Top Rated are not affected by these increases..

A 0.35% regulatory operating fee is applied to the total sale amount.
